Exciting Times

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. We've had our hands full with a litter of servals and we've got another litter expected any day now. Expect pictures to be implemented into the website sometime this week/weekend. If you haven't yet visited our website, here's a quick rundown of the cats we own and/or breed.

We have in total now 6 African Servals. For starters, we've got Kovu (male serval), who breeds Kiara and Karhyn. We've have kept two kittens out of Kiara's litter. A male named Hummer and a female named Kahlua. Just this last sunday we received a male african serval, Dash, from a breeder we know in Kansas that will breed with Kahlua. Hummer is currently too young to breed so we still have some time to figure out what we plan to do with him.

On top of all that, we also received an F2 (2nd generation) Savannah (a mix between an African Serval and a domestic shorthaired cat). She is only 4 weeks old, but she has a beautiful marble coat that is farely rare in Savannah's.

Please keep checking back, we have been somewhat MIA as far as posting is concerned, but we should have it all up and running smootly by the end of the week.

Sunday

Today was somewhat of a sad day. We had to move one of our exotic cats, an African Serval named Hummer, outside into an pen enclosure. He is 10 months old, and we caught him spraying on the wall. It took us all day to finish the enclosure, but he is finally outdoors and spending his first night outside. We are very worried about how he will do tonight, but we had no other choice. It's just part of breeding animals, although it never gets easier.
